Hey Mom

Here's a mothers day poem. This was done from the top of my head. Just picture a rap competition you'd see in the movie 8 Mile. I freestyled in this.

• Hey mom
  I like your food
  It sets me in the right mood
  If it wasn’t for you
  I wouldn’t be cool
  
  Each day I go to school
  My friends always ask
  “Hey Dave, what did your mom make today?”
  And when I tell them “Spaghetti & meat sauce”
  They steal it and say I’m gay
  
  It happens all the time
  Going through hours of school
  Without any food
  Wanting to call you to bring me some
  But I would feel like a fool
  
  It’s more appropriate
  For me to get home
  So I can see you face to face
  And wish you happy mothers day
