Sending emails for special occasions is a great thing. It lets your partner know that you are thinking of her/him. Instead of saying the typical boring stuff, a better idea would be to send the following.

Start of e-mail

I was walking this morning and found a note sitting in the parking lot. Being a person who doesn't care about anyone and what goes on in their lives, I decided to read it. Here is what it said.

Dear Lynn,

I knew it was Valentines day. I was too busy this morning with chores my mom gave me. I promise tonight I will make it up to you.

You already know you have the cooler boyfriend because

1) I am never busy.
2) I always get my chores done.
3) I never listen to my mom.

So baby, since you have the greatest boyfriend, I will be expecting a gift from you tonight. I want it to be something unpredictable. I'll give you an idea. Cook me dinner.
